BuildThingsDirect is a website which offers advice, tips and professional guidance for do-it-yourself beginners and experienced craftsmen alike.  The main area of interest is in backyard or garden projects that are easy and fun to do, and which add value and quality of life to the home-owner.

We have personal experience in making many of these projects for ourselves, and of using the resulting structures or devices (such as a passive solar water heater).  This enables us to review new products with an independent and professional eye, and to offer those we recommend with confidence that the purchaser will get good value for money and a product that will do what it says on the box.

Kieran Gracie is our principal author, and has published many articles on Ezine and elsewhere.
